As you are aware our Christmas Sprint will be quickly here. I am still looking for Volunteers to help on the day, any little helps.
I am still looking for
Security Downstairs poolside doors
Somebody to hand Coaches Passes on the morning downstairs poolside doors.
Extra help with the refreshments poolside.
And someone to help with the paperwork i.e. race results being moved from Omega suite to the front door and upto the announcer.
If any of you would kindly be able to help it would be greatly appreciated.
I will be around most Friday Nights at Dearneside or alternatively you can email me through the volunteers link on the website.
Lets make the day one to remember for our own swimmers and also visiting clubs.

The following meet is suitable for all squads. Please note that the club is attending this meet and not Harrogate Janus Meet as previously published on the competition calendar
City of Leeds January Grand Prix Meet, to be held Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th January 2016 at John Charles Centre for Sport Leeds.
The competition is open to swimmers in the following categories, aged 9,10,11,12,13,14,15 and 16/over, ages as at 31st December 2016.
50, 100, 200 all strokes, plus 200IM, 800 & 1500 free.
Entry fee: £6.00 per event

This years presentation night is on Saturday 19th December at Shaw Lane Rugby Club.
Starting at 7.30 pm until 12.30am.
Tickets are now on sale at £6 for adults £3 for children (2-16) all swimmers will be free.
This year we will be having a medal/trophy presentation, disco, food and a free raffle

Halloween Fundraising
Thank you to everyone who contributed this weekend, we made £57.50 on the bun sale and £19.00 on guess the weight of the pumpkin.
The pumpkin weighed 12.230 kilos, the winner nearest this weight was Lawrence Savage.

We run the event on volunteers and couldn't do it without the.
We need as many parents to help as possible to enable it to run smoothly and for the Visiting Teams and our own Children to have a fabulous day and swim

REMINDER
Scarborough SC Annual A&B Grade Meet, to be held Friday 17th, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th June 2016 at Scarborough Indoor Pool.
In previous years this has been a 'team building event' for the swimmers, anyone under the age of 11 years must be accompanied by an adult, 11 years and over in the hotel can share rooms. A meeting will be held shortly by Craig Lee for any swimmers attending.
Backstroke, Breaststroke & Butterfly – 50m and 100m
Freestyle - 50m, 100m, 200m and 400m
Individual Medley - 100m and 200m
Submitted entry times will be amended where applicable April 2016.
Weekend spectator tickets can be purchased at a cost of £10, payable at time of entry.

Congratulations to Thomas Speed on qualifying for the Olympic trials next year in the 100m breaststroke!
The Olympic trials will take place from the 12th to 17th of April in Glasgow. Swimmers there will be battling it out for a place on the Olympic team competing in Rio.
