BOBSC Bulletin: ASA membership renewals 2016

 

 

 

Dear Membership,

From January the ASA and BoBSC annual membership fees will be due for 2016.  Please find attached details of the fees payable. The deadline for payment is the end of February 2016.  Failure to pay fees will result in membership automatically being cancelled. All swimmers must be ASA members in order to be allowed in the pool, for insurance purposes.

BOBSC Bulletin: January Time Trials

Entries received at 23^rd November attached

 

The following time trials are licensed at level 4,(license applied for) times recorded are suitable for entry into County Championships where acceptable to the County concerned, and Meets at Level 3. Times are not acceptable for entry into Regional and National Events.

 

Time trials to be held Friday 8^th January 2016 at Dearneside Leisure Centre, 6.00pm warm up all squads.

 

Swimmers may enter one event from the following

 

200 Freestyle – 9 yrs & under

200 IM – 10 yrs & under

400 Freestyle – 10 yrs & over

400 IM – 11 yrs & over

800 Freestyle – Girls 11 yrs & over

1500 Freestyle – Boys 11 yrs & over

 

All completed forms can also be returned via e-mail competitions@bobsc.co.uk

 

 

No Splits will be official and ASA rules apply.

 

Closing date is Friday 11th December 2015

Please note that no entry forms will be accepted after this date

BOBSC Bulletin: Lost Goggles

 

A pair of black mirrored fastskin goggles were lost at training Sunday 1^st November at Hoyland.  If anyone has found them could you please let a committee member know ASAP.

BOBSC Bulletin: Bullet caps

Borough of Barnsley Swimming Caps are now compulsory for all swimmers competing at galas. For those that require them I have managed to get personalised speedo bullet caps.

The cost of these caps are £14.00 without a name and £20.00 with a name printed on.

Anyone wanting to purchase one of these bullet caps please fill in the attached order form and hand in to either Lynne or Mick Smith together with the correct payment before Sunday 8th November.
